Hi, I liked the lite version, so have bought the full version in the store, but I cannot sync it to my touch (SV 2.2.1.). What should I do?

Nice app, but you cannot enter Umlaute ä, ü even copying them from other quotes creates garbage. And it hangs after entering a new quote.

Hello Tom,
Can you elaborate on the hanging problem? What exactly do you do to reproduce the error?
We are working on a solution to fix problems with non-english characters. We hope to bring out a full international working version soon. Stay tuned!
Cheers,
Gihad

I do not like the fact that you cannot back up the database… if you ever have to reinstall the application… all your inputted quotes are completely lost. It’s great as long as you don’t put time into inputting quotes.

@ gihad:I have had the same ‘hanging’ experience.
Whenever I save a new quote and push “hinzufügen (add)” the app freezes at the following confirmation screen.
After exiting and restarting the app the quote is added to the database.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Julio

I purchased this app recently.
It ROCKS!
The only thing I don’t like about it is the fact that you include a link to your Twitter account and iTunes app EVERYTIME we tweet a quote.
We are paying customers.
As such, can we have an option to disable this feature as it makes us look like lazy Twitterers.
Thanks,
Fabian

Fabian, thanks for your input. I’ll write it down for one of our next update. We’ve just finished a new one, but the links will not be removed yet.

I just upgraded to iQuote 2.0. The quotes I had saved as favorites are no longer seen. I don’t like the design – the main page has a few lines available for a quote because the rest of the screen is taken up with Facebook and Twitter buttons and other icons. Can’t these be hidden and only displayed on an as-needed basis? Or can a setting allow for the user to display or hide a button? I think the main focus is the quote and it should have as much “real estate” as possible.

Wait a minute! There’s nothing in here, no categories or authors, or quotes. Magic.
April 30th, 2010 at 05:32
Wendy, we submitted a hotfix that should be available any minute, it will fix the database problems. Please be patient. For suggestions please send an email to iquote [at] bigitec.com, thank you!

I’d like to see real iPad support instead of just running the iPhone app.

Would you please consider adding a method to upload a large amount of user quotes? I have a decent sized collection of quotes gathered throughout the years which I would really like to have on my iPhone, but there are *far* too many to enter by hand. Please let me know if we could see this feature in a future release. There are many ways it could be accomplished.
Thank you.

Dear Dana, we have couple of very interesting update features on our list – among which there will be a universal method to import and export quotes – stay tuned and thanks for the suggestion.
